Coaching approach

Let me share my favorite analogy that revolves around baking a cake:
Therapy = fixing your ingredients.
When you realize your cake keeps collapsing in the oven, you go back to examine the ingredients. You check whether the flour is expired, whether sugar was missing, or whether something from the past batches is affecting your current results.Mentoring = the mentor gives you the recipe
During a mentorship you ask the mentor who has baked your desired cake a hundred times before. They hand you their recipe, share tips, warn you about common mistakes, and tell you what has worked well for them. You buy their experience.Coaching = you choose the cake, the coach helps you bake it.
During a coaching program, you figure out with the coachwhat ingredients you already have,
what steps make sense,
what adjustments you want to experiment with,
how to stay focused as you bake.
A professional coach doesn’t give you their recipe. They enable you create your own.

Coaching can be the right tool if you can commit to taking responsible action in your life. Put simply, if you feel stuck and want to understand and change the reasons why, coaching may be right for you.

I mostly work with ethical leaders, small business owners, and parents, and anywhere their worlds intersect. I’m one of them, and I care deeply about the challenges they face.
At the same time, I’ve also worked with artists, motivational speakers, teachers, and many others in between. I support people who feel frustrated and want to create meaningful change from their struggle.
Coaching truly is for everyone. If something about me resonates with you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you feel it in your gut that we should work together, that’s actually a good sign.

Based on my studies:
I’m a university‑trained Business & Team Coach with over 300 hours of completed coaching education. I hold a degree in Business Administration and Management. I’m also a certified Scrum Master and certified Agile Software Tester.
Based on my philosophy:
I follow a humanistic approach, seeing clients as the experts of their own lives. Humanistic coaching is a collaborative, person‑centered approach that empowers you to grow through awareness, authenticity, and your own inner strengths.
In conclusion:
I blend both my academic background and my coaching philosophy to help clients become more emotionally grounded so they can perform better at work and at home.
Coaching logistics
-
Coaching programs usually span 5-6 months if we meet every other week, not including the intro call. Because the program is always tailored to the individual client, we will decide together how long we should work together and how often we should meet.
It may happen that we progress faster and you decide to take a break. That’s perfectly okay. It’s also common that we find underlying topics you want to work on as well, so we might end up working together for longer. We’ll continuously check in with the process to see what would bring the most value to you.
-
Coaching sessions usually last 60 minutes. If you prefer, I also offer 90‑minute sessions for deeper work.
Shorter sessions are not available with me at the moment.
-
Both! I love working offline. However, because I offer my services globally, about 95% of my clients work with me online.
Coaching is highly effective online and can create lasting change, even if we never meet in person.
You’ll only need a computer or phone, headphones, and a quiet, comfortable, safe space to work in. And maybe some tissues if a realization moves you, which is completely okay.
-
I understand how life can change unexpectedly. I’ll appreciate a 48 hour notice in case of a cancellation. The cancellation policy will be part of our written agreement, and I’ll share the terms during our intro call.
Trust and safety

Everyone’s journey is different, but here are some common results:
increased self-awareness in your decisions
more clarity about your directions
steadier emotional grounding
better performance at work
a livelier presence at home
improved everyday habits
greater confidence
But above all: you’re not practicing self‑development alone and you stop running in boring circles.
The list isn’t exhaustive, as I wanted to keep it concise.
-
Naturally, as this is how we can determine if we click to work together. It’s a short 30 minute call, where we get to know each other, talk about what you want to work on, and lay down the foundations for a safe, collaborative process to work in together.
This is the shortest route to book your intro call.
-
Unquestionably.
As a professional coach, I’m bound by the code of ethics which states that at all times I will
“maintain the strictest level of confidentiality with all parties involved, regardless of the role I am fulfilling.“
“have a clear agreement with client(s), sponsor(s), and other involved parties about what confidential information may need to be disclosed to the appropriate authorities, e.g., illegal activity, required by law, valid court order or subpoena; or imminent/likely risk of danger to self or to others.“
“maintain, store, and dispose of any records, including electronic files and communications, in a manner that promotes confidentiality, security, and privacy, and complies with applicable laws and agreements.“
-
A couple of things:
I’ve spent over 300 hours learning the craft at university, and I hold a diploma as proof of that training.
I continuously invest in my personal development through supervision.
If we decide to work together, we’ll both sign a coaching agreement to clearly define the boundaries of our work together.
My work is guided by ethics, confidentiality, and established coaching competencies.
How to get coaching
-
No, you don’t. It’s perfectly understandable if you can’t pinpoint what’s wrong exactly. What you should look for is general discomfort and a desire to change when something isn’t working.
We can work with not knowing exactly. Even if it feels frightening not to to know sometimes.
-
First and foremost, you’ll need a quiet, calm, and safe space. Ideally a room where you can be alone.
A stable internet connection.
A desktop, laptop, or phone that can run Microsoft Teams. The link I’ll send you will also work in a browser.
Headphones, if you have them.
And tissues, just in case a realization moves you emotionally, which is completely okay.
